20 pages, 8 x 11 photocopy, black and white, three staples left side.
In the spring of 1985, my friend Tom Stanton and I started a fanzine. We were both first-year students at Rutgers University and DJs at WRSU. We got our friends Liz, Raj and Donna to help. The finished product included interviews with Hoboken popsters The Cucumbers and North Carolina jangle-poppers The Graphic; profiles on local bands Spiral Jetty, D.U.H. and Animation; and various reviews. Clearly a first try, and clearly I thought I knew more than I really did know...but a reflection of its times, and all in all not as terrible as it could have been. I recently found some dead stock, and am happy to make it for sale.
